BEESNAPP are bee frames made from plastic
BeeSnapp is a frame for fixating the rolled beeswax used in modern beekeeping.
Normally, during the winter, the wax foundation sheets will have to be soldered with steel wire onto the wooden frames – this can be a time-consuming occupation. With a BeeSnapp frame, the foundation sheets can be put in the frame in a few seconds and can be done quickly on the spot out in the apiary.
So with a BeeSnapp frame, you can now spend your winter evenings on something else.
Wireless beekeeping
Steel wire is not used in BeeSnapp. The foundation is held by 6 clutches until the bees have themselves attached the foundation to the frame. The bees’ own construction is so strong that the foundation sheets does not fall out.
This is an advantage if you produce cold-pressed honey or want to sell whole table honey, also called honeycombs, where the consumer buys wax with sealed honey.
To clean Beesnap frames
BeeSnapp is easy to clean. You can send them for cleaning, like the known frames of wood, but you do not need to use acid bath.
Plastic is not open to disease germs. Therefore, you can just boil or steam BeeSnapp frames to remove wax residues and propolis residues.
BeeSnapp can also be cold cleaned. This means that cleaning BeeSnapp is gentle and environmentally friendly.
How to use Beesnap frames
BeeSnapp consists of two identical frames in acid and heat-resistant plastic, which when turned in a mirror fit into each other. The frames are assembled with a snap lock, and are just as easy to assemble as they are to disassemble again. The frames are durable and dimensionally stable and the weight is low.
